Pros

There were pros in the beginning but has changed drastically.

Cons

There's no Open door policy, HR is not for the employees so its their word against their word. There is a very high turnover.

We’re disheartened to hear that you thought the Open Door Policy ever went anywhere! We have always had an Open Door Policy and always will. Our associates are like family to us, and we value their opinions, feedback, and ideas immensely. We realize we have experienced a huge amount of growth over the last three years, but we never want that expansion to get in the way of our open communication and big family feeling. We also have an anonymous line people can call to voice their concerns if they don’t feel comfortable talking to someone internally. Regardless of these initiatives, it looks like you have already left Cortland, so we wish you all the best in your next endeavor and hope you’ll look back with fond memories!

Good environment for professional growth, the team is collaborative and willing to share knowledge.

Cons

Hard to grow, big prefference on external candidates. For higher roles, not a stable working environment
