Pros

I have absolutely loved working for this company for the most part, my management team is the best I have ever worked for. I love being able to help people find a place to call home, and the events are wonderful, from Cortland Commitment day, to the Christmas party, to our most recent Thrive challenge that allowed us to come together as a team!

Cons

As I mentioned above, I have loved it for the most part. The recent change in hours has left me with little to no work/life balance. A company that supports a healthy lifestyle should realize that having your employees work until 8:00PM every week night with only one weekend off a month leaves you with no time for friends, or family. I used to be in a kickball leage, and volleyball, however with the recent change in work hours I can no longer partake in these activities, or even all the wonderful things to do around Charlotte such as alive after 5, RiverJam, or the multiple concerts that I get to tell all of my future residents about but I will no longer be able to attend.

We decided to extend the hours so we could better accommodate our residents during the time they are home. Since we added part-time associates, there is the ability to stagger work hours. We do support all associates finding the right work schedule that blends well with their personal life.
