Absolutely Not - Resident Experience Coordinator Cortland Employee Review

Cortland's core values sound great in theory and sadly, that's all it is. Looks nice on paper. Company culture is important to me. Feeling like I'm valued is important to me. I'm the type of individual who takes ownership for my job, the company that I represent, etc. and it turned out that Cortland does not see, value, and appreciate that when they have it, and demonstrated a gross lack of integrity when it came down to it. My position felt like a joke sometimes because we didn't have the budget to take care of our residents and communities needs (don't get me started) yet we had plenty designated for resident events. Management is political and clique-ish, gossipy, and unfortunately, I do not believe this culture is limited to any specific market. Long story short, I highly recommend choosing another management company.
