Pros

My colleagues were amazing. Pay and benefits were average

Cons

This company does not have a spine. To them, you are just a number. If you decide to work here, just know that going in. Nothing matters except the bottom line. Credence laid off/furloughed over 500 contractors with its USAID programs in a single day with no prior warning that this was going to happen. The decision to dismantle USAID is obviously not Credence's fault, but the way they handled it exposes the true nature of this company. Additionally, Credence openly supports the very administration that cost it hundreds of million dollars in business. Insane. They axed everyone with no severance, 3 days left of health coverage, and then completely ceased all communication. That's pretty cruel. This company was not competent enough to handle such a large workforce. I would also caution against working at Credence because the future of this company is uncertain. USAID was Credence's largest client while they had the contracts, and now they are gone. The company shrunk by 30% in a day after the layoffs. Losing that amount of business is no joke. When things like this happen, the bottom line becomes even more important, so I would be very cautious if you are thinking of accepting an offer at Credence post February 2025. What is especially frustrating is the company's support for the Trump administration, showing they have no moral integrity. The company highlights that they donated to Trump's inaugural fund on their website. They also scrubbed any mention of their work with USAID. This truly shows that this company's leadership (the President and CEO: Sid and PG) lack any ounce of integrity.

Credence is a wonderful place to work. The company provides a supportive and family-oriented environment where employees are encouraged to grow professionally. Management is very supportive, and my immediate supervisor is professional, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I have had many opportunities to learn new skills and continue developing my career. Overall, Credence is an excellent organization for professional growth and continuous learning.

Cons

I do not have any negative comments. My experience at Credence has been very positive, and I have not encountered any significant issues during my time with the company.

Pros

The company is highly adaptable to the evolving federal contracting landscape and does a great job communicating its mission. Employees understand the reasoning behind decisions and how their work fits into the company’s broader goals. Senior leadership is approachable and open to feedback from all levels of the organization. Supervisors are incredibly caring, engaged, and supportive. They are the best I’ve experienced at any employer.

Cons

I do not have any major cons to share. One adjustment for new employees may be getting used to the company’s flat leadership structure. Credence truly gives employees the opportunity to take ownership of their work, regardless of title or level. At first, this can take some getting used to, especially if you are coming from a more traditional organization. Because the company genuinely operates this way, it may take time to understand certain processes or know exactly who to contact for specific questions. Once you get oriented, though, this approach becomes one of the company’s strengths.
