The contract and customer I support is great.
Cons
- Management is extremely disorganized and unable to communicate. Being on site, you are disconnected from the company. - No definition of the PMO function. The PM's don't seem to grasp even basic PMO functions like sending out charge code directions for the contract one supports. Also the PM's do not approve timecards which is an odd practice for a federal contractor. -Company seems to be using unethical recruiting practices. Make sure everything the company recruiters tell you about the contract they are recruiting you to is actually true. -The retirement plan is a simple IRA. If you max out your tax benefits on your retirementment plan, than this IRA plan will significantly impact you negatively vs. a 401k plan since the IRS contribution limits for an IRA are much less than a 401k. -Corporate culture is one of arrogance and wanting "yes men". Independent thought or ideas on how to do things better are unwelcome.
