Pros

Company has some great incentives for employees, there is a lot of talk about values, beliefs, and culture.

Cons

There is a lot of talk about values, beliefs, and culture that is not actually done in Nashville. Lot of micro management, too many people wanting to manage things that aren't their responsibilities. Leadership is often lacking or non existent, you only find out you broke the "rules" after the fact when no one told you the "rules," doesn't seem as if leadership has the backs of their employees and often undermines them. Cliques and favoritism is rampant.

We appreciate you taking time to give your feedback, and we take all of it seriously. DPR’s culture is one of the—if not the—most important parts of our company, and we try to bring it to life in any way we can. It sounds like we’re missing the mark on that for you, and we’d like to hear more so that we can look for ways to improve. Please reach out to your manager, coach, peer group leader, a member of your local leadership team, or your talent partner to share more about your experience.

Pros

DPR is an outstanding place to work, with a strong people-first culture that truly sets it apart in the construction industry. The company emphasizes collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement, creating an environment where employees feel valued and supported. Leadership is approachable and transparent, and there’s a genuine commitment to developing individuals both professionally and personally. The work itself is engaging and impactful, especially if you enjoy complex, technical, high-quality projects. DPR empowers its teams with trust and autonomy while still providing the resources needed to succeed. There’s also a strong focus on innovation, safety, and doing things the right way, which makes the work feel meaningful. Overall, it’s a great place to build a career, grow your skill set, and be part of a team that takes pride in what they do.

Cons

Fast-paced environment (construction industry in general) may not be for everyone.
