Cons
Higher management that have absolutely no idea what they're doing and no concrete plans when company is losing money. No proper business strategies and execution plan even for restructuring. Bad finance management with no transparency on cost/profits. Please refer to the recent financial report on ASX (Annual Report FY21). No increment. No bonus, profit sharing is a joke. No career progression. What you'll hear is company is not making profit every single year despite market were doing well relatively. Competitors (CGG, Schlumberger) won lots of projects with good financial projection whereas the company lost a lot, definitely not an excuse to blame the market with no projects available for bidding. The company rather 'invest' something that is on hype now but with no certain profits within a said timeframe and no strong financial backup. No allowance given if working overtime. Often pushing you beyond your limits (in a bad way) without compensation and appreciation, i.e. extra workload without giving extra time/resources or even replacement leave. Something must be wrong when there's high turnover of employees.
