Pros

There's no pros here. Horrible company!

Cons

This company has a lengthy process for hiring and will ask too many questions. They will drive you nuts over your 10 year work history. Then they ask you to do a physical and drug test. They ask lots of medical questions. Then they will drive you nuts over completing a two week training where they further screen and antagonize you. It’s a high stress job. It can give you grey hairs. When you get there, if the people don’t like you, you will be bullied and harassed. They use the people who monitor the cameras to get rid of you over petty reasons. I have seen people written up for the slightest reasons. Their management will lie on you to get you fired. This is a toxic work environment. There is no real job security. The people who work there are horrible. If you report anything, they will fire you

Pros

Working with kids and families is rewarding. Freedom to build your own approach and interventions for your sessions. Fair pay with mileage reimbursement. Not every day will look the same. Other direct support staff are great to work with. Time off is accrued generously.

Cons

Lots of travel. Inconsistent scheduling. Some days can be long. PM shift for the most part, so take advantage of your free time in the morning since you will likely be documenting late into the night. High emphasis on quantity over quality,
