      Pros

      The place if full of good people-not just because they care about improving the lives of others, but they're fun to work with. There are pretty good growth opportunities for motivated people and with locations around the country, there's room to transfer if you need or want to move. Overall, Devereux is supportive of a good work/life balance and provides excellent time off benefits.

      Cons

      Pay and availability of other resources could be better, but it's not that bad. Sometimes things take a while to get done, or don't get done at all, so it can be frustrating when something needs to change and it doesn't.

      Great benefits and many opportunities to learn from those with more knowledge. Very welcoming team and everyone is their with the same goal of serving our clients!

      Pros

      Working with kids and families is rewarding. Freedom to build your own approach and interventions for your sessions. Fair pay with mileage reimbursement. Not every day will look the same. Other direct support staff are great to work with. Time off is accrued generously.

      Cons

      Lots of travel. Inconsistent scheduling. Some days can be long. PM shift for the most part, so take advantage of your free time in the morning since you will likely be documenting late into the night. High emphasis on quantity over quality,
