Compensation - The base is good but you will probably never close a deal as no one has in the past year. Clients are leaving the organization! SDRs will sometimes take a higher portion of a deal that an AE.
Sales - You will be required to make a minimum of 50+ personalized outreach cadences/calls a day. Sounds easy at first however their broken salesforce rarely tracks the team's actual performance and if you don't show 50 cadences on your report you will be scrutinized to the highest level. 97% of these cadences will never work or make it to the client's inbox as pretty much every email is marked as spam.
Micromanaged to the extreme - There are forecast calls TWICE a day. You will be asked to review your performance every morning on a full sales team call and then once again on a pod call later in the day. CEO only cares about outreach and never supports you.
CEO and other leadership - Chris Hickey is the WORST CEO I have ever worked for. He was recruited by the board of directors to come in and revamp the sales organization. He has no industry knowledge in the Kubernetes space and thinks he can treat the company as a telemarketing company and close deals in 2 weeks. This industry has long sales cycles and every other company respects that and works with their clients through the process.
Chris has recruited his henchmen to come work alongside him in the New York office, such as Arnaldo Perez (CRO) and they sit in their office all day planning new things they want the sales team to do every day and then they push everything onto the sales team and expect them to figure it out.
Chris will micromanage you to extreme levels. If you speak up and share your own thought he will not listen to you. Continuously cuts off team members as they are speaking and never listens to others' opinions. Not an inclusive workspace. Everything needs to be done his way.
I don't believe there are any sales members on the team that has been at Diamanti for over a year. They show these massive checks that ex-employees had received but they left the first chance they could when Chris Hickey got hired.
They are having new sales people write good glassdoor reviews as they are having a hard time hiring people as the word is spreading about this toxic organization and people are being told to stay away.
Overall, this company is terrible. If you are considering this opportunity because of the pay, I would strongly look to rethink what is more important to you Money or Happiness because you will not be happy here. Unfortunately, I did not take the time to do my research and got stuck here.
