Pros

Benefits, company culture as whole (depending on department), being remote.

Cons

Specific teams/supervisors/managers style may not align with what DocuSign promotes and promises employees. Since being remote management has become more micromanaging, less flexible/understanding and no matter how much you work or get done, how many contests you win, it's never enough. On top of the micromanaging, having management talk down to their employee's with a condescending tone during team meetings or 1-1s does not set the tone well for those meetings. Not very diverse, everyone in upper management is white. This could be improved upon.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It of course is disappointing to read of your experience. Please share this feedback with your HRBP if you don't feel you are being treated with feedback or with your manager's manager as we are doing annual performance reviews right now. We do have more diversity in our Board of Directors and our senior leadership (considered SVP and above) than you describe in your review and that is largely thanks to our CEO Dan Springer placing a priority on that and discussing the value of creating a diverse workforce and inclusive culture where all can thrive. But do we have work to do? Absolutely. And that is something our Senior Leadership is constantly saying.

Pros

Seriously, it's all about luck with your manager and territory. If you land a good one, the money can really flow. Honestly, you don't even need to deep dive into the details. Just hope for the best and you might strike gold. It's a real gamble sometimes, but that's how it goes.

Cons

Seriously, these sales quotas feel designed for us to fall flat on our faces. It's wild how management sometimes pushes us towards tactics that feel a little sketch. And don't even get me started on selling IAM; it's a real uphill battle. Honestly, the leadership here just isn't cutting it. It's frustrating to feel like you're set up for failure and not getting the support you need.
