Pros

I had a lot a great coworkers. The hours were okay too. I will say that if you wanted to work your way up it was not too hard which was great.

Cons

I don't know if it's based on location or what but it really took a serious mental and physical toll on me by the time I was ready to leave. My branch had a lot of turn over and it was really hard working open to closes with us being one of the busiest locations in Ohio. One time a floater did not show up, we requested help from the main office and got nothing...on the first of the month. I was the only teller, for the first of the month. Really appreciate my regional manager and the poor new CSR who just seriously helped me with all the customers both drive through and front counter. Also so lucky that a lot of our great regulars came in and were so understanding.

Pros

Plenty of opportunity at dollar for growing your knowledge and experience. Leadership does care about their people and there is a a fair bit of access to executive management. Benefits are pretty good with insurance, gym reimbursement, 401k match and other things.

Cons

Performance incentives are sorely lacking here. If you are a high performer, you get the same performance incentive distributed into your 401k as someone who is average. Management also has a track record of adding responsibilities but not necessarily increasing compensation. The other main item is that the majority of employees have started and stayed at dollar. Coming in externally with difference experiences can be challenging.
