Pros

There are no longer any pros to working at E Source but there used to be! The new CEO, Dave Perotti, has even abandoned the last CEO's commitment to the employee experience.

Cons

This company has been run into the ground. The company is a total mess internally. The majority of the worker bees who actual produce and deliver work products keeping the company relevant are overworked and underpaid. Attrition has been through the roof since we were acquired by private equity and many of my coworkers who have stayed until this point are now running for the hills. The number of employees with client knowledge greater than a couple of years has dwindled significantly - because everyone has escaped this hell hole. New employees will have fun picking up the slack of the 4 people they are replacing but don't worry, it makes the private equity firm look good (WORRY)! The cherry on top, it's clear the worst is yet to come!

Pros

- This company attracts extremely intelligent and dedicated employees - Employee development and well-being are top priorities - Pay is competitive for most locations - Many positions are remote allowing for good work-life balance - A mission of "building a sustainable future in partnership with utilities" resonates with my personal passion of sustainability

Cons

- If you're not passionate about making positive changes in the utility industry, this may not be the right company for you

Pros

Smart and passionate team members, project work is interesting, work load is good compared to other firms (maybe differs depending on the team)

Cons

Leadership appears to only care about the bottom line rather than employee well being and satisfaction. Staff morale is incredibly low. Brilliant people from the various acquired orgs are leaving.
