Pros

Great to work with students. Good job if you love teaching for the sake of teaching.

Cons

Many students are sold these packages abroad promising golden rainbows and when they get there they are mostly let down. Housing is not good, the food is terrible, the classes are nothing like they were promised. I spent hours and hours preparing my own materials because the school materials are so bad. There is NO employee parking so you will pay half your salary in parking tickets, fines, or towing if you don't pay for hours a day. This company is a revolving door of people and they are only in it for a quick profit, and don't care about their students or teachers. It is a shady company.

Pros

You get to choose your tour and recruit the students you want to bring. The paid chaperone ratio is 6:1, so it is very manageable. The tours are great and the local experts are wonderful.

Cons

Company support is variable. There is high turnover and new consultants are very sales motivated and don't always get the nuances of your school or community group. I have had some WONDERFUL concusltants, but they have always been promoted before I get to work with them again.
