Pros

They pay you well as otherwise no one will join them but then they fire you at will doesn't matter if your are good or not. Project is finished then you are a liability. (BTW project never finishes it's just that the client either abuse EXL and kick them out of they nicely shake hand and say thanks for your AI now don't call us from Tommorow) So be cautious and don't get into the trap of good salary. But yes if you don't have any other option you can join. Something is better than nothing but yes you will die early.

Cons

Leadership Gaps: The leadership team has transitioned from BPO Operations into Digital roles without sufficient domain expertise. Despite claims of AI proficiency, there appears to be a significant lack of understanding regarding the technical domain and broader business applications. Stagnant Workforce: A large portion of the staff has been with the company for over a decade. There is a frequent trend of "re-hiring" former employees, which suggests a lack of fresh perspectives and external mobility. This often results in visible knowledge gaps and a culture that does not prioritize upskilling. Misaligned Incentives: Much of the digital leadership seems focused on internal optics and securing international transfers (US, UK, Australia, etc.) rather than driving genuine AI innovation or project success. Toxic Work Environment: Junior and mid-level managers frequently experience unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from upper management. The workplace culture at lower levels is characterized by a lack of basic professional courtesy, making the daily environment very difficult for many employees. Resource Mismanagement: The company appears to misallocate funds toward international travel for personnel who lack the necessary project expertise, while many key initiatives fail to meet their objectives or run successfully. Ineffective HR & Accountability: Human Resources lacks the empowerment to address systemic issues or formal grievances. There is a perceived lack of accountability for long-tenured managers, even when multiple complaints are lodged by various staff members. Management Mismatch: There is a significant disconnect between the backgrounds of senior VPs and the technical requirements of AI and Cloud departments. This leads to a friction-filled environment where highly qualified technical talent from top-tier institutions is treated unprofessionally by leadership with non-technical backgrounds. Recommendation: I would advise potential candidates to be cautious. While the compensation may be high, the work-life balance and professional environment are extremely challenging. Much of the survival within the firm depends on internal politics rather than merit or technical contribution.

Pros

Location, building amenities, nice view

Cons

Pay is terrible.. work load increases but pay stays the same. Ten cent or less pay increase every year. No room for advancement. A lot of favoritism in office, management trains new hires incorrectly and employees have to Pick up the slack. There is no respect in office from management to employees. No assistance from management. You get talked at , not talked to like an adult. Management will clock you out if you go over a minute of your 15 minute break, you are expected to tell management when you are going to the restroom and they will contact you while in bathroom. Policies are not followed.
