Pros

Work Life Balance is Extremely good <9 hours (This is client specific , in some cases it is horrible, people work for more than 12 hours ) Less pressure , work is easy . For someone who likes crunching numbers , working on Excel , can do very basic coding based on some set rules , and is ok with slow progress rate it is good . No matter what position you join work would be similar . Management is friendly in most cases . They don't give you a hard time . It is assumed you learn slowly so you get a lot of time for your task .

Cons

The work quality is not good Learning is very less , for more then six months in the company i did not have anything to do . Some people might say that's wonderful you can go to office everyday and not do anything or read books , have a great time with friends but for some people who really want to learn something new its a waste of time . Also some offices in Noida are really dull and phones are also not allowed as they have a BPO in the same building . Gurgaon office is good. The salary growth is not good . Moreover the company has a bias in salary structure for people with different colleges . To be specific IITians earn more , are promised a quick promotion they start 3/4 positions ahead of NIT, other college graduate . The kind of work you do will depend largely on client you get and what that will be is very random . There are no perks as such . Bonus is also client specific . You don't even get pickup facility anymore . EXL is prominently known for its BPO and the Analytics part does not have an established brand name.

Pros

Paycheck clears, that’s about it.

Cons

Started off with supportive leadership, teamwork and opportunities to grow. At the start of this year, entire department went toxic. Leadership stopped communicating, people getting fired, threats that you would get fired, being told that they are “reducing workforce” in august, creating ridiculous metrics that were impossible to meet due to their own bad technology. Coworkers started getting mental and physical health issues trying to keep their jobs, and many are trying to leave. I have never seen such a toxic workplace in my 30 years of employment in this industry.
