Working at Easterseals MORC has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The organization truly cares about its employees and goes above and beyond to support my professional growth. Our team members have monthly formal supervisions, which cover a range of topics, including a portion dedicated to discussing career aspirations and goals. When my manager learned about my desire to move into a leadership role, she recommended me for our leadership mentoring program. This program has been an amazing opportunity to get guidance from experienced leaders in the field. I’ve connected with both internal and external leaders, learning from them and bouncing ideas off of them. The supportive, collaborative nature of the group has given me invaluable experience and knowledge. Easterseals MORC truly invests in its people and supports them throughout their growth. I’m very proud to be part of this team!

Cons

I know that at times, caseloads for clinical workers can become demanding or feel overwhelming, but we’re fortunate to have a responsive leadership team that takes action. They focus on advocating to increase headcounts, bringing caseloads down when necessary, and ensuring we have the staff to effectively support the individuals we serve.

Pros

Safe and supportive environment. Our leadership is always available in any department to support staff. Lots of room for growth, opportunities to learn new EBP, loan forgiveness, and then to develop and implement new ideas. Really appreciate how creative we can be with our teams to come up with solutions for challenges individuals face in the community, and how everyone works together to support. Strong support in work life balance too.

Can't keep up with staffing, a lot of intakes and not enough clinicians leading to burn out and turn over
