Pros
Provides a steady paycheck, Most employees off on weekends, set schedule, relatively good work/life balance, try to retain top employees (just not very hard)
Cons
-Teach yourself how to do your job. Then, once you've done that, teach yourself how to do someone else's. Management here took "Knowledge is Power" and interpreted it to me the less you know, the less you threaten me. -Increases in responsibility not accompanied by increase in wage -You will never receive a review and HR does not care about it -Business-model resembles a pyramid scheme. Small group of people (executives) manipulates larger group of people (employees) to exploit larger group of people (customers). Feels like working for a smaller version of the cable company. -Racist. Zero minority managers. Zero white folks performing the menial tasks.
