Pros

EdFinancial is one of those rare companies where their day-to-day actions actually mirror their company mission and values. The leadership is clearly coached and trained In assuring employees learn and grow into the roles they want. It’s an exciting, fast-paced working experience where the more tasks you take on, the more you are awarded. The people you work with offer a fun atmosphere and it’s easy to build friendships with the people you work near. The benefit package offered is really stellar. They offer 401k’s and fringe benefits meaning that the health insurance, dental, etc.. is provided above and beyond agreed-upon pay which is a huge plus. They also offer really great schedules. Everything is Monday-Friday and all the hours tend to be 8 am – 8 pm.

Cons

You aren’t micro-managed but the majority of your day is pre-planned ahead of time so your breaks and lunches are set in stone before you clock in. It is a fast-paced work day and there are a few months where your days can feel overwhelming. You could find yourself talking to 100-200 people a day and even though you go through weeks of training as a new hire and for each new school you learn, you can feel exhausted after a long day.

Pros

Great pay, Creative Benefits Structure, There is a passionate group of individuals who make themselves known by the clear willingness to help others in and out of the company or a specific department. Those who are willing to learn and grow have ample resources.

Cons

Very large operation. Fully dependent on contract requirements. The number of individuals who are skilled AND willing to assist is not large. There is a 'luck of the draw' component based on hiring date and department due to the work reflecting the industry.
