If you aren't burnt out already you're probably well on your way there. Dwindling resources. Rising expectations. Platitudes from leadership. Managers too busy to manage or are too hamstrung to drive meaningful change. Reviews where it becomes clear that you, viewed as a "high potential" by managers past and present can never somehow exceed expectations across enough goals to make a difference.
