Upper management on day one expressed one set of scheduling and output expectations, followed by wholly different expectations and directions as the week progressed. We were told that we would still technically be employed by the company between projects, however, upon interviewing for a different role I was told that I was "not technically employed" with the company...all the while, I still received mailings regarding benefits as though I were.
At any rate, the take away is that management did not value people in this role and were quick to be rid of them, as far as I could tell. Expectations and instructions were never totally clear and any deviation from the shifting goal posts would be treated as errors exclusively from the employee.
