Pros
Mission is inspiring, the people inside the company are committed, capable, collaborative and the company is at early stages of development. It is ideal for people that are entrepreneurial and scrappy, and are capable of dealing with some level of ambiguity as the company charts its course. It's also the first company that I have worked in with women leaders at every level, and more than 60% of the company is female, which brings a different level of energy and collaboration to bear. Compensation and benefits are competitive. Having colleagues across the US, with headquarters in Chicago and Mumbai gives it a very global feel.
Cons
Since the company is still in its growth phase, some systems and processes are lacking, e.g., decision making is still quite centralized. Also, the company and its leadership are still figuring out how to run the business in a more predictable manner - which can cause things to change very quickly. I see these just as more growing pains, as opposed to systematic issues.
