Pros

Some of the employees and clients

Cons

If I could give zero stars I would. High turn over rate for many reasons . They need to pay more for the amount of work that is done each day. You are constantly being exposed to bodily fluids and there’s no gloves or the proper cleaning supplies to be found in the classrooms. Insane amount of workload. You get 3 clients every day with an unrealistic amount of paperwork. They will put you with kids that are behavioral all day and wonder why staff get burnt out. Cleaning standards are subpar. Kids come in when they’re sick. They do not care about exposing staff to what they have. When you walk in to the rooms upstairs you will smell a weird stench that is hard to get past. This place will deteriorate your mental health. Don’t do it, even if it’s your last resort.

Thanks for the feedback. A few points of rebuttal: Turnover is high right now for all businesses, especially those that accept entry-level employees. And our pay (starting $18-22/hr for entry level) and benefits (health, dental, matching 401k, five weeks paid vacation, early release Fridays, etc.) are much better than our competitors. Most of our employees work 40 hours per week or less so the workload, by definition, is not really that high. And being exposed to bodily fluids is part of the job when you're working with young children. We have a full-time cleaning person and utilize a cleaning company that cleans the buildings every night. We even use a disinfecting fogger. We have gloves and other PPE and sanitizing bottles in huge quantities that are available for staff use. Some individuals just aren't suitable for this kind of work but those that are find it very rewarding and lucrative!

Pros

Competitive pay for Registered Behavior Technician

Cons

Seems like they are always short staffed and the initial training doesn’t teach much. Supervisors try to train but that is after you are already with a client.
