Pros

Close-knit sales team - everyone in sales looks after one and another

Cons

C-level executives have said, "Paying the sales staff is not a priority." Quarterly commissions are never paid on time (generally 3-6 months late). Comp plan states commissions are "uncapped," but will go behind your back and limit your payout. Our revenue data is completely unorganized, and it is impossible to calculate territory rev; so you have to blindly accept what is given to you although it is more than likely inaccurate. Half of our products have been out of stock for a year with no end in sight. There is only a small percentage of employees that last longer than 2 years. It is very common to see employees quit within 6 months.

Pros

At Empower, you have the opportunity to build a future that is dedicated to providing a healthy future for all. When I think of my grandkids, I know I am doing them and the community around them well by serving at Empower. Empower also takes great care of its employees as it's an employee first company. We love our machines and we love more those who help create and maintain them!

Cons

Commitment & Dedication - This isn't a company for those who are not committed to raising the standard each and every year.

Pros

A few things I'd tell anyone considering Empower: We're AI- and innovation-forward, so things move quickly and actually get done. We're early enough that you get to design the foundation, not inherit someone else's. And the mission is real — everyone supports getting patients access to affordable medicine, and the care for that mission is evident in everything we do. Fast, foundational, mission-driven, and team forward.

Cons

Fast pace and a still-being-built foundation cut both ways: priorities shift quickly, some processes and tools are still maturing, and there's more ambiguity and manual work than at an established company. It's a strong fit if you're energized by building and comfortable with change — a harder one if you want everything structured and settled on day one.
