Pros

beautiful facility on site benefits free medication(with prescription)

Cons

the only untouchable ones are family or best friends of the family can't win, high turnover you expect to go in and make changes, but can't due to leadership goal post is always moving and leadership always changes their minds on priorities or wants/needs supervisors/managers havent been trained to manage people always dealing with lawsuits

Pros

This is the first company where I've truly felt recognized and rewarded for my work ethic, knowledge, and reliability. I appreciate the opportunity to work remotely and that employee feedback is genuinely heard. Leadership is receptive to ideas, and I've often seen concerns raised by employees become part of larger conversations. I've also been fortunate to work with an incredible manager and supportive peers, making this a great place to grow my career. Fantastic Benefits!

Cons

As the company has grown, some initiatives have been implemented before processes were fully established, creating additional challenges for employees. Leadership workloads could also be more balanced, as some supervisors manage more direct reports than others. Frequent process changes and evolving expectations can make it difficult to keep up, especially when so much relies on memory.

Pros

A few things I'd tell anyone considering Empower: We're AI- and innovation-forward, so things move quickly and actually get done. We're early enough that you get to design the foundation, not inherit someone else's. And the mission is real — everyone supports getting patients access to affordable medicine, and the care for that mission is evident in everything we do. Fast, foundational, mission-driven, and team forward.

Cons

Fast pace and a still-being-built foundation cut both ways: priorities shift quickly, some processes and tools are still maturing, and there's more ambiguity and manual work than at an established company. It's a strong fit if you're energized by building and comfortable with change — a harder one if you want everything structured and settled on day one.

This captures the Empower experience for builders with unusual clarity. The tension you name — between the opportunity to design from scratch and the ambiguity that comes with a still-maturing foundation — is exactly the trade-off we want people to understand before they join. Your advice to management is worth repeating: invest in people as fast as you are growing. That is the challenge and the commitment. The tools, support structures, and development paths have to keep pace with the speed of the business, or the speed breaks people instead of energising them. We hear that. Appreciate the candour — this is the kind of review that helps the right people find us. — Empower Pharmacy
