Leadership has no strategy and has zero understanding of how to build good product. Rebranding of entire portfolio only to reverse it, promises of making it a platform with no roadmap, AI fever with no customer use cases. The results speak for themselves, mass layoffs where the new CEO goes out of his way to insult his current and former employees publicly and in private 1 on 1s. Firing and rehiring for the same lower level roles are common (I've seen 3-4 people taking over the same position in 2 years for multiple roles). There is no safety and security at this company and the board is more interested in "trimming fat" to look good for a buyout rather than building good product. People are actively afraid of saying something wrong to leadership at the risk of their job and rightfully so with their role elimination and culture. The loudest voice in the room often gets the final say. If you are in product, marketing often has the final say over roadmap decision making or "direction" the c-suite gave as the new shiny thing to deliver on regardless of customer research or current priorities.
I would not even recommend this company at entry level or a transitional role as it's highly unlikely with layoffs to be safe.
