This may be a great place to learn a different side of behavioral health, but it may not be great in the long run (for anyone). This organization acquired many smaller behavioral health software companies and slapped “Therapy Brands” across it. These software products were not made to work together. They were all independent organizations satisfying a different need in the behavioral health sector (practice management, data collection, billing). Many enhancements came as an after thought, resulting in very POOR products. Imagine buying a bunch of bakeries and calling them Cookie Brands? You may only sell cookies in one or only donuts, or might only offer vegan options. The individuality of every previous organization was not taken into consideration. This meant legacy knowledge left with the folks who developed each system, no knowledge means poor training for staff, poor staff training leads to angry customers and the cycle continues. Over and over to anyone willing to try it. So if you’re considering a customer facing role, think about your professional development.
