Pros
Smart and motivated people who are some of the best the industry has to offer.
Cons
Vile and unknowledgeable upper management that gets in the way of implementing improvements and slows down or interrupts daily operations because they don't understand the business and are too egotistical to admit it. Those who work with customers and are solutioning issues are shutdown during times of decision making. This often leads to misses because those working day in and day out are not consulted to understand our basic operations. Ineffective leadership are promoted when it's recognized they have no idea what they're doing when really they should be demoted or fired. Instead, they slap a new and improved job title on them, call it a promotion and move the problem onto another team leaving the previous team wondering how they heck can you actually do good work and succeed here. Maybe we should all play dumb and call the knowledgeable and truly hard workers "difficult to work with" or "negative" so we can succeed too.
