Pros

The money at Epic is good, which scales pretty well with how long you are there for. Fairly intelligent people work there, the company culture is unlike many that you can find elsewhere. Free juice, great lunch food (subsidized but recently has been getting more expensive). Very fast growing company.

Cons

Extremely high turnover. Socially awkward would describe a HUGE portion of the company. There is a strange mix between young and old, don't be surprised if it is hard to respect your managers. Do not let the culture fool you, they want to work you to the bone if possible.

Pros

Impact: You are part of creating systemic level change for healthcare organizations. You get to be on site and work directly with providers and see how these changes impact their communities. People: Extremely smart and capable. I feel like I can rely on my team in a way I haven't at previous employers. New hires are entry level, so there's a strong community for people in a similar stage of life. Culture: Quirky but in a real, unique way. People are collaborative and celebrate shared accomplishments. The campus enshrines a very specific (and fun!) vibe. Location: Madison is awesome. Benefits: The health insurance is unparalleled. Sabbatical is a super cool perk too. Growth: A lot of autonomy and responsibility allows people to rise to the challenge. Stability: Solid industry, no lay-offs.

Cons

Remote work flexibility: 5 days a year
