Interesting work, but staff and managers too comfortable after 20+ years of working at the same company - Development Engineer and Supervisor Essity Employee Review

Pros

Interesting work as you can work on multiple projects at once, but you need to be willing to learn on your own. Good 401k match.

Cons

Management did not provide much mentorship. Be prepared to work 40-60 hour weeks if you're in any type of leadership position with the company. Not many young employees. There is a generational gap within the company at least on the technical side. Incentives aren't established for obtaining more education or training.

Thank you for your review. We are proud of the fact that we have many employees that have been with us for a long time, this is a testament of the positive work environment we have worked hard to develop. We are sorry that you feel there is a mentorship and training gap. We work hard to select and develop strong leaders that exemplify our core values. With that said, we certainly are not perfect, and are always looking to evaluate and improve. We will take your feedback into careful consideration going forward.
