Pros

Decent 401(k) plan, PTO days start at acceptable level

Cons

Company has aggressively increased its virtue signaling for "diversity," but the definition includes only a certain subset of diversity that mirrors a homogeneous liberal, secularized, North European perspective.

Pros

Opportunities to grow for many

Cons

Upper management is willfully uninformed and is not realistic about profit expectations in the industry. Unfortunately, upper management was unwilling to stick with action plans long enough to see the real results and mid to lower management who stayed in place knew better than to point out that the emperor wore no clothes. Results: too many layoffs of key people cut employee confidence off at the knees and a mass exodus of talent thereafter crippled performance levels.

Thank you for recognizing Essity as a company with great opportunity for our employees. When setting goals we use the SMART model – Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound. It is unfortunate that you felt we missed the “A” in your case. I will forward your feedback to that appropriate managers internally. We appreciate you taking the time to complete a review.
