In this role there is no "balance" in the term work/life balance. You will be expected to cover your assigned area Mon. - Fri. 24 hours a day and will be in a weekend rotation with 2 other engineers (if there are 2 other engineers), the job currently has 3 vacancies out of 5 positions, can't imagine why ;). You will have to cover the other engineers PTO also and be on call for your assigned holidays. In a nut shell, you possibly could be on call for an entire month 24/7..... trust me, you will get called, even for some things that won't even be in your job scope.
