Pros

Flexibility with schedule Patient population

Cons

Low pay in comparison to demand. Currently 28 per visit on average but cut pay to 14 if you get behind on charting. Keep increasing demand without providing any extra assistance. At times scheduled 30 patients a day with no MA support. Terrible work life balance

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you value the flexibility of the role and the opportunity to serve our patient population—both are central to our mission. We also want to sincerely acknowledge the concerns you’ve raised around workload, compensation, and support. These are incredibly important, and we understand how they can impact both your well-being and your ability to provide care. Your feedback about communication and responsiveness from leadership is especially helpful. We are actively working to improve support systems, reduce administrative burden, and ensure team members feel heard and valued. Thank you again for your commitment to our patients and for helping us identify areas where we can do better.

Pros

flexible schedule, gas card, insurance, patients are endearing to work with, very rewarding work

Cons

The facility assignments were not consistent in volume, making it difficult to make a living wage. The company took most of the medicare reimbursement and did not always value the contributions of the psychotherapist because the reimbursement levels were much lower than that of physical health payment codes. No real path for advancement.
