Pros

money is good for the role, but honestly its not worth it

Cons

The hours are long , mandatory OT, storm duty is 12 hour to 16 hour shifts You will be fired 2 days before union contract while on probation they just want you for the busy seasons, bathroom breaks are monitored, no sick days for first 6 months or you will be fired , call reviews and write ups for small things, customer angry they lost power the bad survey is your fault and you'll be written up and fired

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We want to clarify that Customer Service Representative roles are union positions, and expectations around probation, scheduling, overtime, and performance standards are clearly communicated from the start of employment. These roles require flexibility due to storm response and customer needs, and performance expectations apply consistently throughout the probationary period. Decisions related to continued employment are based on established guidelines and individual performance, not seasonal timing. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify and value all feedback as we continue to support our employees and customers.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear you’ve experienced strong support from your team — that’s something we value highly. We understand that some roles, especially early on, can feel repetitive as employees build foundational knowledge. Many teams offer opportunities to take on additional projects or expand responsibilities over time, and we encourage employees to speak with their managers about ways to diversify their experience and grow. We appreciate your insights and your contributions to Eversource.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Normal vacation. Interesting job, meaning it’ll keep you mind sharp.

Cons

There are no goals or expectations set that allows you to prove you’re ready for growth. The only way to advance your career is to be one of the cool guys OR work 16 hours a day and weekends. Bonuses and merit increase is the same across the board no matter how much extra you do. The work force is too small for customer/management and the expectations are set too high. There are not enough vehicles for the work force and often times trainees have no way of getting to the job site. We would run out of stock items (cable, wire, connections, transformer, safety gear) that are necessary to keep the power on. Our best coworkers have left for biggest competitor…me too.
