Pros

The pay is decent entry level pay.

Cons

Overall The position upon applying was presented as remote and optional overtime. Upon hire it was revealed that the position is hybrid remote and mandatory overtime. There is no work life balance. If you’re scheduled from 8a-4:30p and the call volume is high you are NOT allowed to go home until you are released. (This is daily, not just sometimes) This can mean you are staying well into 6:00 pm. So if you have any appointments or plans at all consider them cancelled or postponed. Training/Off Training You get 4weeks of training then you are placed on calls for the first time on your following week. You’re supposed to be in the office with a supervisor available to assist you. Supervisors are not available (not their fault) because they’re being called to meetings, they’re not in the office, or they’re on calls. If you have a question or need assistance on a call, you feel completely unsupported as a new employee due to the lack of available assistance. You do have someone you can call while you have a customer on hold but that could take up to 30 minutes at times. This leaves the customer irritated, as they should be, because adequate top of the notch customer support is not being provided. It leaves new employees flying by the seat of their pants and is completely unacceptable for a company of this stature. The customer service department is very unorganized and if the company were ran more efficiently the turn over rate wouldn’t be so high.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. It sounds like the role was not right for you. Our customers are very important to us and I'm happy to say that for 2022 we were able to elevate calls with an average time of 5 minutes and we always have covering Supervisors. The roles are remote , but performance based. If you are not meeting the goals, you will be required to come into the office for additional training.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Normal vacation. Interesting job, meaning it’ll keep you mind sharp.

Cons

There are no goals or expectations set that allows you to prove you’re ready for growth. The only way to advance your career is to be one of the cool guys OR work 16 hours a day and weekends. Bonuses and merit increase is the same across the board no matter how much extra you do. The work force is too small for customer/management and the expectations are set too high. There are not enough vehicles for the work force and often times trainees have no way of getting to the job site. We would run out of stock items (cable, wire, connections, transformer, safety gear) that are necessary to keep the power on. Our best coworkers have left for biggest competitor…me too.
