Pros
- Unlimited holidays - Very flexible working hours - Fully remote if you're looking for that - Treated like an adult and left to do the work
Cons
- Zero social events - Onboarding is not a priority at all despite the amount of employees being hired - Offices closed until the end of February despite restrictions easing right now - No effort to make FanDuel a fun place to work - No effort to pay people the same that they would get if they left to another company I could go into more bullet points but honestly... it just seems like the culture of FanDuel is gone. There is no people aspect to the company, there is not even the suggestion of in person events, no Christmas dinner etc., and the employees who seem to have defined FanDuel's culture are leaving in droves. The management team is very much a different "clique" to the normal employees which feels very corporate and American "top-down". The management team don't want to hear your feedback, they don't want to hear any negative, and that means that the negative stuff that's happening just keeps happening. You really feel like you're working on a sinking ship.
