Pros

- Laid back atmosphere as long as you work hard and are accountable - Understanding of any PTO requests - Sports loving culture - Incredible brand/merch annually

Cons

- Salary doesn't suffice for how much you work and need to know to thrive in the role. Companies like Target, Chipotle pay more for cashier roles, and management isn't increasing pay to match the current inflation going on across the United States. - Lack of personal interest - Lack of get togethers for remote workers - Lack of downtime from working - Promotions aren't clear and there was numerous occasions where after countless interviews and tests for a promotional role that you'll wait over 30 days for an auto generated regret to inform you - If you're looking to make improvements to broken processes, you're not going to be able to - Lack of routine scheduling - Customer Support gets inequal treatment to the entirety of the other departments, and the other departments have absolutely no remorse or sympathy for your role. - Lack of parents that work at FanDuel and celebrating kids. - Lack of incentive to work harder, and go above and beyond. There's no reward whatsoever for going the extra mile, and if you do so, you'll get paid the same. - --- Top, middle, bottom of the CS Department all get paid the same, and it can get tedious to continue to work relentlessly for nothing but a pat on the back from your supervisor. - Literally everyone including yourself are uploading their resume and hoping to get out of the CS Department into another role, because the chats are endless and emails don't stop. The entry queue quite literally will go on infinitely. - CS Supervisors/SLs promote alcohol use, and monthly get togethers are held at local bars with no uber provided.

Pros

Colleagues who are both smart and genuinely nice A fun office environment, sports-related events A fair amount of non-financial perks Approachable leadership compared to many other large companies Top tier benefit offerings Great employee resource groups

Cons

Constant restructuring of teams, especially in Tech RIFs began happening more regularly almost every year A lot of senior leadership roles are disconnected from processes and work that is happening Business growth is largely outside of the control of employees - there's lot of market and industry based factors to consider D&I is only a priority if it's required to be or if the incentives are right Career growth opportunities are much more competitive and limited at mid/senior levels
