Pros

Easy job, good benefits & pay.

Cons

The people that work there. It was like a high school but worse. The people who work there act immature and think they know everything. Any wrong move you make, expect someone to go complain, exploit you, etc. Lots of crap talking and back stabbing. The coworkers were awful. The culture in Phoenix was so terrible, we had to have regular meetings about morale. The HR department is absolutely atrocious & terrible, especially at the senior & director level. I really dont know how they look at themselves in the mirror & sleep at night. Fanduel is a very shady company. My advice is lay low and quiet and don't use your benefits too much or they will come after you, even if they "cant" they will figure out a way or loophole. Im so happy to hear the location is turning into a lounge LOL!!!!! Karma!! Worst company ive ever worked for hands down! I am so happy I left and life got better once I rid myself of the place.

Pros

Colleagues who are both smart and genuinely nice A fun office environment, sports-related events A fair amount of non-financial perks Approachable leadership compared to many other large companies Top tier benefit offerings Great employee resource groups

Cons

Constant restructuring of teams, especially in Tech RIFs began happening more regularly almost every year A lot of senior leadership roles are disconnected from processes and work that is happening Business growth is largely outside of the control of employees - there's lot of market and industry based factors to consider D&I is only a priority if it's required to be or if the incentives are right Career growth opportunities are much more competitive and limited at mid/senior levels
