Five Star Call Centers

Engaged Employer

Mostly great people but no loyalty and the lowest pay for this type of work in the industry. - Anonymous employee Five Star Call Centers Employee Review

Pros

Flexible hours, great peers and occasionally free food.

Cons

Very low pay. High turnover. They're desperate for revenue and take on any account, which leads to them signing bad companies that use us as a buffer against their angry customers, so the associates are basically verbal punching bags for the callers.

Pros

Work/life balance is consistent. PTO is quickly accrued (per hour accumulation), 401K is competitively invested, Insurance options available. Team Leads, Supervisors and Managers are very supportive and training is paid for. Occasional contests, spiffs and fun stuff for the teams.

Cons

Audits weekly (although there is a wide margin of learning opportunity. They understand you have to get with the flow). 3 weeks minimum needed to request PTO, (we get our schedules about 3 weeks in advance, so makes sense).

Pros

Remote is the only pro two of my managers were great but the last one I had was not.

Cons

Management was very unprofessional at my last month there. There was no room to grow or move up and no pay raises as they moved you from account to account. I did ask my manager how i could improve my raises and the only response was post more in teams chat. - NO room for growth very little pay for what you do. The third issue would be my last manager at the end. She first stated she was just out of training to be a manager when she in fact was not out of training to which she confessed and probably forgot at the end of my time here. The fourth would be that holidays you have to use your PTO.
