Pros
Changing from a small town business to a global company and there are both pros and cons to that. It is becoming more inclusive, and becoming more aware and welcoming of all cultures. It is very nice and eye opening to work with people globally. Recently they've vamped up the IT team and brought in more staff and new software to help bring our company to the status quo, and is working on raising the bar. Excited for us to become a more uniformed global company.
Cons
Changing from a small town business to a global company and there are both pros and cons to that. During the transition there is not a great work life balance, I presume this will alleviate once the transition is complete. As with any job, if you're salary, you need to set your own work life balance and set hard boundaries to adhere to it.
