Pros

Historically a good place to work. Average wages. Average benefits. Plenty of good people left. Handled the pandemic very well. Attempts to incorporate innovation. Sr Engineer Mgmt is currently solid. R&D is solid. Tech Center is solid.

Cons

Culture has been diluted from growth. In general, good Leadership steps down, or leaves the company due to lack of pay or support resulting in poor leadership getting promoted out of necessity. Sr Quality Mgnt has been average, at best, for years. With the boomers retiring job training is inadequate, if not negligent. This has been, and will continue to be felt in New Product Development. HR is pretty darn spotty. Scott Glaze is sadly stepping out, his successor is a glorified used car salesman. Misdiagnosing the leadership problem has lead to the attendance policy changing over the last few years, People show up sick and pass it around like @ a daycare.

Pros

Fun work, meaningful products created. Really nice events put on for employees.

Cons

Impossible to move up if you aren't friends with the hiring manager in most departments. If you don't have at least a bachelors degree, you mean nothing and will never be valued as more than a production worker regardless of your skill and accomplishments.
