Pros
- On-site staff was great to work with. - The company is diverse. - Free meal once a week for meetings. - Free Forward membership
Cons
The interview process is very quick and does not have enough time to solidify a decision once offered the role. In return, felt pressured. Inadequate training in regards to having someone from the sales leadership team come down to sites to get a feel for how things actually run on a day-to-day basis. Before accepting the offer, I was told that someone would be coming down to my specific site to train in person one-on-one, and never did. You can tell that the team overestimated the expected quotas when initially coming up with the on-site position. Many sites have poor foot traffic which reflects the onsite targets not being obtained. They overhired too many MSA's to basically put us as Guinea pigs to see what works for the company. In return, poor project planning can have an effect on individuals' careers. If you are wanting a role that is fast-paced, then this is definitely not the role for you since it can be slow the majority of the days (you are working in a mall). You are expected to work 50 hours minimum. There are no growth opportunities in the role. Manager can be much better at keeping contact with employees especially since they are not working face-to-face if you have specific questions. Two days of waiting on a response is unacceptable... Overall, I believe that this role is unnecessary for specific sites. There is better traction from interests online when they see the marketing/advertising on their own.
