Pros
Coming into FOX as an outside hire, I had only heard their culture was why they are amongst the most enviable companies to work for in the restaurant industry. It wasn't until about a month into my management training that I really understood the culture wasn't simply words on a piece of paper, but a way of life within the organization. Giving great hospitality every time is easy when you live the Golden Rule- give the Guest what you would expect out of your dining experience, which is nothing but the absolute best! The transparency you hear about is evident in the managerial orientation, where I was able to meet many of the leaders of the company and ask them questions about my future with the company, as well as the company as a whole. Even Sam Fox himself was available for a Q&A session! By the way, the benefits are incredible! How about this as an example- 50% 401k match. Awesome! Never have I been a part of a company (...more like a family) that has been so welcoming from the first interview. Now, after speaking with dozens of managers and directors of the company, I feel as if this will be my employer for many, many years to come.
Cons
Although restaurant mangers are at their stores for 55 or so hours a week. However, is that truly a "con" when you're having a blast at work?
