Pros
The San Francisco office is insulated so it is hard to generalize the experience because working in another office location may be completely different. The pros for SF are: Casual environment. Attorneys and support staff generally work well together. Beautiful office with a gorgeous view. Bagels on Friday.
Cons
Not much room for advancement once you hit the paralegal level. Attorneys are not very good at managing people and underestimate the time it takes to complete tasks so it creates the impression. Attorneys are friendly and very approachable however they can be cliquey, tend to gossip, and waste time not working while deferring most of the work to the support staff.
