Pros

You get to work with really great people who make coming into work less of a hassle on bad days. The company's name holds value. The work is easy to learn and although sometimes you are stuck working on only one/a few case types, it is possible to continue to learn new types (just push for it). The only company I have worked for where I have not felt harassed or uncomfortable in any way, and that is one of the things I value the most about this place.

Cons

Depending on the team you are in, you may be stuck working with the same client and case type, and this routine can be boring at times. This office is still working on developing ways to manage how fast it is growing, and processes can sometimes feel repetitive, frustrating, and sometimes your work will feel undervalued. People usually leave as soon as they get enough experience, or sometimes just right away. You rely more on your peer for training than the resources available, your team manager, or the attorneys.

Pros

Decent overtime pay. I also had a decent training/onboarding experience, but this was not the norm.

Cons

Exploitative, 80+ hour work weeks, 2am messages from attorneys, burn-out model for paralegals and associates (scoop them up after BA or JD and overwork them until they quit), misrepresent case load during interview by 50% of total, low ceiling for non-attorney career advancement. Have an exit plan.
