Pros
great team atmosphere. enjoyed working at the location i did - easy commute. became good friends with supervising attorneys and managers. flexible working hours.
Cons
too much work for not enough pay. high turnover rate. poor training. hard to move up if you're an assistant paralegal 1 because they don't typically promote you until 2 years after you start. hated how an assistant paralegal 1 (entry-level, super low starting salary) had the SAME work as a SENIOR PARALEGAL, who obviously makes more $$$, although i'm sure it's not much anyway. generally, really low morale because everyone just wants to get paid more for the work they do.
