Rewarding work and the other floor staff are supportive of one another

Cons

Nurse managers and senior management do not take the experience of floor staff into consideration when making decisions. Very unsupportive and lack empathy for the experiences of staff working the floor every day. Understaffed and too many admissions to be sustainable so the psych unit is often acute.
