Pros
For salaried employers there is tremendous flexibility within the company to move around and try new positions. There is plenty of work and right now the opportunties are very good. The company is very good at delivering submarines which is a difficult feat each time. The top leaders demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and passion.
Cons
The amount of rigor and documentation that goes into designing and building submarines makes the job monotonous at times. At times the company leadership stuggles to forecast and get ahead of the problems of tomorrow and sometimes today.
