Stability. If you are a salaried employee and breathe, you will most likely be able to stay in your job forever.
Cons
- EB has cut benefits over and over and over - 30 minute "unpaid lunch" implemented - no casual overtime - expected to put in long hours for free - stopped their pension program - health insurance premiums now are a joke - insulting programs, such as "donate unwanted PTO to those that want it" - WHO WANTS TO GIVE AWAY THEIR PTO??? - EB cares more about hiring "more diverse" (no straight white males) into upper management roles than ability - parking is ridiculous - the EB way is old and outdated, not a great vision for the future. - too many directors and managers, and with no accountability at their level - the beatings will continue until morale improves - pay raises are set up as a battle royale, with workers having to screw over their coworkers in order to get a better raise (impossible to give everyone a good raise if you have a great team, as the money is a small pool)
