Pros
Nice group of young people to work with and keep each other motivated. Hard working, resilient and making the best out of unfavorable conditions. Provide transport for late hour shift which decreased the stress of transport compared to other BPO that dont provide transport for late shifts. Management in the BPO is friendly and approachable.
Cons
Nightshift is draining, takes a toll on the body and mentally. Worse when you have to adjust to changing shifts. You basically do not have a life because you use the time off to recover and you are back at it again. System is terrible and employees pay the price. Example it take long to start so employees have to start their shift before the planned time. Even after that, issues will persist and that effects your productivity. Unrealistic an inhumanly impossible AHT targets needing one to operate like a robot especially when interacting with clients. BPO setting make one feel useless and decreases motivation to perform better. There is complete separation between the BPO and its corporate in terms of treatment and culture. Its like two different companies. Career progression is highly unlikely and unreasonable. You could be qualified for a relatively senior role based on skills and experience but have to start at lower level. So they will higher for senior role externally and pass you. Company only considers getting business and less about the impact on its BPO workforce.
